Victoria Rivera received her Bachelor of Science from San Francisco State University and earned her Physician Assistant degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, in 1999. She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Her professional background includes family practice, women’s health and functional medicine. She has additional training in holistic nutrition that focuses on diet, vitamins, and supplements to treat and prevent disease, as well as to maximize health.
Her practice style focuses on understanding the cause of disease, whether it is physical, psychological, or spiritual, and treating it appropriately. Her interests are in women’s health, digestive disorders, hormone replacement, and autoimmune disorders. She incorporates bio-identical hormone replacement for women who prefer this.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, paddle boarding, singing, dancing, and traveling.
She is fluent in Spanish.
